Before / after positioning measures your learners’ real progress, beyond their satisfaction. It relies on two questionnaire campaigns tied to the session.

Prerequisites

Admin role.
A positioning-type survey built in Settings → Surveys.

1. The positioning campaigns

A session can carry two positioning campaigns:

Positioning before : sent upstream, before the training starts, to measure the initial level.
Positioning after : sent downstream, after the training, to measure the acquired level.

Like satisfaction campaigns, they are sent via email with a single-use public link. No sign-in required.

2. Set up positioning for a session

From the session’s Feedback collection block:

Select the positioning before survey and send it before the session starts.
Select the positioning after survey and send it after the session closes.

Tip: send the “before” campaign when confirming enrolments (in the Preparation phase), not the day before the training, learners need time to respond.

3. The progress report

Certeef cross-references the completed responses of both campaigns, matched per learner. In the session detail, the Before / after positioning block shows:

Average after score
Average delta (progress)
Per-learner detail

Important: only learners who responded to both campaigns appear in the delta calculation. Remind non-respondents before closing the session.
