Before / after positioning
Measure learner progress by cross-referencing the before- and after-training positioning questionnaires.
Updated on June 4, 2026
Before / after positioning measures your learners’ real progress, beyond their satisfaction. It relies on two questionnaire campaigns tied to the session.
The positioning campaigns
A session can carry a positioning before campaign (upstream) and a positioning after campaign (downstream). Like other campaigns, they can be sent automatically when the session opens and collect responses via a public link.
The progress report
Certeef cross-references the completed responses of both campaigns, matched per learner, and shows in the session detail the Before / after positioning block: average before, average after and average delta, with the per-learner detail — below the satisfaction results.
Next step
Set up your surveys in satisfaction surveys, and trigger an action if a score is low via handle a complaint.
Frequently asked questions
- How does positioning differ from a satisfaction questionnaire?
- Positioning measures the learner's level (before and after), not their appreciation. Positioning questionnaires are excluded from satisfaction reports, which only aggregate satisfaction questionnaires.
- How is progress computed?
- The completed responses of the "positioning before" and "positioning after" campaigns are matched per learner, and Certeef derives the average before, the average after and the average delta.
