The synopsis is a summary PDF of a training, generated automatically from its teaching record. It saves you writing a presentation document by hand.

Prerequisites

Admin role.
Training with its seven teaching fields filled in. See Create a compliant training.

1. Generate the document

From the training record, click Generate synopsis:

Certeef compiles the structured teaching data (title, duration, modality, audience, prerequisites, objectives, programme, modules, methods, assessment, accessibility).
A PDF is produced and saved as a draft version.
The synopsis appears in the Documents tab.

Tip: regenerate the synopsis whenever you update the training programme, the version history shows auditors how the content evolved over time.

2. Lifecycle

The synopsis follows the same lifecycle as other training documents:

Publish : makes it official and accessible
Archive : takes it out of circulation without deleting it
Download : export the PDF at any time
Delete : permanently removes the file (prefer archiving)
