This guide walks you through your first kickoff, from creating the workspace to your first training session.

Prerequisites

  • A Certeef account (sign up at the registration page).

1. Create your workspace

When you sign up, you create the organization that represents your training body: its name and contact details. This information then feeds your documents and exports.

Tip: fill in the organization’s legal information (SIRET, address, legal representative) from the start, it is used in PDF documents such as attendance sheets and certificates.

2. Choose your plan

Full access requires a subscription, indexed on your number of learners. You pick a tier (from 100 to 3,000 learners) and a monthly or annual billing period. Until a subscription is active, the workspace is created but pending.

See Manage your subscription.

3. Invite your team

Add your colleagues and give each one a fitting role: admin, trainer or learner. Each role opens exactly the screens that person needs.

See Invite members and understand roles.

Important: each learner with access counts against your tier. Start by inviting admins and trainers, then add learners progressively.

4. Import what you have

No need to start from scratch:

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to set up Certeef?
Plan for a first 90-minute kickoff to create the workspace, invite your team and enter a first training. Compliance then builds up over time as you schedule your sessions.
Do I have to re-enter everything by hand?
No. You can import learners in bulk and upload your existing trainings and documents right from the start.
Can I belong to several organizations?
Yes. A single user can switch between several organizations (handy if you manage more than one training body). Your personal preferences stay the same across all organizations.
What happens if I exceed my learner tier?
Access is not blocked, but a banner prompts you to upgrade. You can also free up seats by cancelling pending learner invitations before upgrading.
