Automatic reminders

Enable and tune the session reminders, signature reminders and questionnaire reminders sent automatically, tier by tier.

Updated on June 4, 2026

Certeef sends automatic reminders on behalf of your organization, via a daily scheduled task. You stay in control of their activation and cadence.

The three reminders

  • Session reminders — to invited/confirmed learners of upcoming sessions, at one or more tiers (e.g. D-7 and D-1).
  • Signature reminders — to signers of a request still pending.
  • Questionnaire reminders — to recipients of a campaign with no response.

Tune the reminders

In Settings > Emails > Settings (/organization/emails/settings), tune each reminder: activation, multiple offsets for session reminders (edited as chips), and cadence for signatures/questionnaires — once at D+N or recurring every N days.

Default values apply until you set anything (opt-out).

Frequently asked questions

Are reminders enabled by default?
Yes, opt-out: with no settings, an organization receives the default reminders (session reminders at D-7 and D-1, recurring reminders every 3 days). You can disable them or adjust the cadence.
Does a reminder fire every day?
No. For signatures and questionnaires, you choose "once at D+N" or "recurring every N days". Reminders therefore no longer repeat daily once the threshold has passed.
